I embraced the moniker as it was a dramatic step up from the Sesame Street references of my youth.
So may wonder where the "y" came from, when normally my name is spelled with "ie" at the end... according to my Father I am the namesake of Ernest Haycox, a distant relative, and in recent years I came across the fact that he went by "Erny" so I decided to pay homage here to his unique spelling of our name.
